Dre Bullock declares for NBA draft!

As per ESPN Honolulu, former Rainbow Warrior Dre Bullock is declaring for the 2026 NBA Draft!

After exhausting his eligibility at the end of 2025-26, University of Hawaiʻi senior Dre Bullock announced on Tuesday that he is declaring for the NBA Draft!

Bullock, a graduate transfer from South Dakota, came to UH for his final season of college basketball! He was also on the roster for the Niagara Purple Eagles in the 2023-24 season that played in Honolulu in November 2023.

During his lone season at UH, Bullock averaged under 14 points, six rebounds, two assists and steals per game. He proved to be a vital addition to the roster and brought UH fans to their feet with his thunderous and acrobatic slam dunks.

Bullock started and played all 33 games. He led the team in scoring in 11 of those games and cracked 20 points in seven of them. UH went 9-2 in those 11 games Bullock led the team in scoring.

Bullock also cracked 1,000 career points in UH’s win over Cal State Bakersfield on Jan. 22 in the Stan Sheriff Center. His best game of the season was 27 points in UH’s road win over Cal State Fullerton; he was 5-of-7 in that game from 3-point range, which included the game-winning triple at the buzzer!

If Bullock makes it to the NBA, he will be only the second Rainbow Warrior to make it in program history! The last and only time that happened was Anthony Carter in 1998.
